Sometimes, Blogging starts to feel lonely: Often, it is communication in a one-way street, as rarely you receive any feedback. With my writing, I am trying to reach others to help us find solutions for the big questions of our time together. But when no one is answering, you can’t be sure that you are asking the right questions, or that anyone is even listening. This makes the feedback you get even more important to keep going.
Lately, I have been feeling a bit lonely here. And then this happened: My blog post How to: Commute safely, healthy and environmentally-friendly in times of COVID-19 and climate change got nominated for the seventeen goals Blog Award by the seventeen goals magazine!
I am beyond thrilled that my work here is being recognized and that my blog is mentioned among other really inspiring works. The seventeen goals Magazine “tells positive, inspiring stories of change and shows how we can all contribute to the success of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.” This is a fantastic way to promote these so important goals to a wide society. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the UN address exactly those big questions of our time. I am honored to contribute to the mission of promoting them further and showing ways how everyone can have a positive impact. So even though it did not win in the end, this makes me really happy and gives me such a motivation boost! It feels good to know that others, too, find value in my posts.
